The Alpha Group was formed in 2005 as an independent and privately held specialty insurer focusing on insurance solutions for large corporates and specialty insurance program business in the European market through its main subsidiaries Alpha Insurance A/S and Gaia Insurance A/S both based in Copenhagen. The Group currently writes in excess of DKK 1,000 million in premium and has total assets in excess of DKK 2,700 million.

Alpha have underwritten personal lines protection insurances in the United Kingdom for a number of years through chosen business partners and are committed to ensuring all customers receive a first class service.
