Working within our Commercial team, you will predominantly be involved in dealing with quotations and new business as well as handling mid term enquiries and renewals across a wide variety of Commercial Lines products, predominantly package style SME products. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate key selling skills along with a good technical knowledge of Commercial Lines products and a strong ethos of ensuring the client understands the products they are being offered.
A minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial insurance is preferred. CII qualifications are not essential, but are preferred.
You will be working within our busy customer services team will be involved in dealing with quotations and new business as well as mid term enquiries and renewals across a wide variety of Personal Lines products, predominantly household and residential Buy To Let, but also including all forms of Personal Lines products. In addition, you will be on hand to help agents understand and use our online quote systems and also help them market products to their clients and build their business. The job offers exceptional variety in the product mix and also the opportunity for the right candidate to progress into other areas including commercial insurance or business development.
A minimum of 2 years experience in Personal Lines insurance is preferred. CII qualifications are not essential, but are preferred.
This role will initially be that of a trainee and the successful candidate will spend time in a number of different teams, which may include our sales, customer services, accounts, renewals and administration units. This will provide the candidate with a thorough understanding of our business and a good base knowledge whilst also allowing the individual to establish where their skills and personality are best suited.

We would be expecting the successful applicant to continue a vocational training programme with us during at least the first 12 to 24 months with a view to achieving industry qualifications with the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute).
